Priceless Upgrade.

I got shat on today -__-
What are the chances that a bird 200ft. in the air would pick me of all things to target? Shame. But it's all good. I learned something new today with my camera! =D
I found a way to shoot macro with my standard 18-55mm lense ^-^.
----
For those who don't know, macro shots are taken with a very large apeture, magnifying the subject with intense depth of field behind; super magnified photography I guess you could say. The bigger the apeture, the closer you can get to the subject while it's still in focus. The largest apeture setting on my camera is 4 (by the way, the smaller the number, the bigger the apeture -> the closer you can get to your subject in focus) Macro lenses usually have an apeture of 1 or 2; thats seeing the hair on a spider, or seeing the inside of a flower 0_0 and they're mad expensive.
----
I found a way to achieve something similar to an apeture of about 3 without spending stupid money =D. By reversing my lense (taking it off and holding it up to the body, backwards) I was able to achieve this:

Tell me that's not awesome.
