What's beautiful about this photo? Besides the superb lighting?
It's completely natural. Not forced, not set up at all. This is only significant to me because people tend to think that parents like to force their interests or goals on their children and mold them into whatever they so desire. Of course, people like this do exist all over, though I could never forcefully mold Adrian into what I expected him to be and nothing more. At the very most, I can teach him all that I know, and watch my movements and actions knowing he's paying very close attention. However, to say that I wouldn't be significantly more proud or happy to see him grow up to be an artist of any sort would be a bold faced lie.
He will be all that he can be, he will be interested in whatever he takes a liking to, and I will help him grow in whatever that interest may be. Some kids like to color in coloring books, so their parents show them how to stay in the lines. If he grows up with the will to use the camera, he won't be denied.
It does warm my heart to see him take such a liking to it, all on his own.
